The Chase book is now out and I am starting Chase events. Last night I was at the Newport Beach Public Library, for a great event, with many friends and neighbors. I started by saying a few words about my late father, who died in October 2020, as I was writing the last few paragraphs of the Chase book. Many of the folks in the audience were his friends, members of his book club, or people with whom he had worked in various local charities over the years. He would have been so happy to be there last night. Next up on the calendar: event Sunday morning, at St. James Episcopal Church, where I will focus on Chase’s faith, and an interview Sunday afternoon with Book Stall in Chicago, a virtual event. Working on other events, including talk at Dartmouth College at some point in the spring.
