We are now six weeks away from the publication, on November 9, of my Salmon Chase biography. I have not yet seen the final printed book, but expect to have one or two in my hands in perhaps two or three weeks. I have just posted, over on the events page, the list of Chase events, so far. There are not as many events as I would like, and I wish that they were ALL in person, but such is life in the midst of a pandemic. I am especially excited about speaking in person in Gettysburg, at the Lincoln Forum, in November. The folks who attend the Forum are well read, especially on Lincoln and the Civil War, and I expect a lively discussion during the question and answer period.
